Placement Testing -Entrance testing is not pass-or-fail. However, placement testing is necessary to determine if you are prepared to be successful in your chosen field. The texts, training, and job generally require a certain level of education to qualify for a position. You will ultimately be faced with the need for required knowledge when the job becomes a reality. Learning what your shortfalls may be and addressing them now is much more advantageous than determining a lack of skill or knowledge working with dangerous or expensive machinery.
