Region 4 provides its students with academic learning and personal development opportunities for personal development both individually and collectively.
The opportunities are not program or area specific, but rather prescribe that the student activity provides opportunities for students to grow, develop and achieve individual or group potentials.
Student life activities serve as a resource for expanding education while developing and maintaining human relationships essential to survival in today's global society. It provides exploratory experiences that complement today's learning environments.
Students have many opportunities to be involved at Region 4 campuses. From volunteering in the community to planning an event, from writing for the student news to competing in skills competitions, there are many things students can do to enhance their educational experiences. Research shows that student involvement is linked to academic success. There are numerous advantages to participating in activities, such as building your leadership skills, meeting new people and networking, building your resume, having out-of-class practical learning experiences, and making friends. So find something that interests you and make your collegiate experience what you want it to be by getting involved!
