LTC Region 4 has implemented an emergency notification system with the activation of FirstCall an interactive communications network

The FirstCall system uses voice, email and text messaging to alert registered users to emergencies on campus.

  1.  Go to
  2.  Click Register New Contact Information
  3.  Enter your information
  4.  Click Submit my contact information
  5.  Done

Should an emergency develop on campus, this system would simultaneously begin notifying students, faculty and staff via a phone message, text messaging and email alerts.

The FirstCall service is part of an initiative by the Louisiana Board of Regents and supported by the Louisiana Community and Technical College System
