Greater Acadiana Regions Continuing Education Division provides a continuum of training for everyone. Students range from those with no workforce background who lack basic skills, to those already working who need to upgrade to the latest high-tech, high-wage skills to retain or advance in their jobs and/or to make career transitions. In addition the Continuing Education Division serves as an educational link between the technical colleges in the region and the communities they serve. Greater Acadiana Region campuses work year round to meet the needs of business, industry, and the public by providing technical training programs, customized training programs, continuing and professional education courses, and lagniappe courses. The continuing education division continues to identify training and development trends and needs. This information is used to offer timely training that will keep Acadiana growing and competitive in the future.
Courses in the Continuing Education Division are offered Monday thru Friday after 3:00 p.m. as well as on weekends.
Companies with 50 or fewer employees may be eligible for IWTP Small Business Employer Training funds to provide tuition for employees.
