Thank you for your commitment to the Continuing Education Division of the LTC Greater Acadiana Region 4. Continuing education provides a great opportunity to showcase the outstanding training that takes place on our technical college campuses each and every day.

By providing outstanding learning experiences for the adult learners who take your CED classes, you should see increased enrollment in both your regular and continuing education programs. Word-of-mouth is our best advertisement. These professionals will recognize the convenient, effective, efficient, and affordable training opportunities that your campus provides and will tell others.

This handbook has been prepared as a guide to assist you in managing your continuing education division. Consistency across the region is important in developing syllabi, paying instructors, tuition charges, and advertising for programs. If during the process of setting up your program, you discover a better or more efficient way of administering the CED, let me know so that adjustments can be made for the benefit of the entire district.
