A designee at each campus is responsible for the appropriate orientation of continuing education faculty members. This orientation may occur in a group setting or by individual conference. The orientation of new continuing education faculty should include, as a minimum, the following:

• Job Description
• Instructor Handbook
• Contract/Payroll Information
• College calendar
• Information on other services available such as copying, e-mail, audio-visual equipment
• Phone information
• Copy of office text and other course materials as necessary
• Keys as required

All orientations should include the opportunity for campus tours as well as questions and clarification. The orientation of returning continuing education faculty members should include information on any updates or changes in the above listed area.

Each campus is responsible for the evaluation of each continuing education faculty member.
